Services
Licensed Professional Counselor, Serving Adults in Denver and Truckee
I implement integrative psychotherapy methods to help individuals in gaining self-understanding and confronting personal challenges. Since opening the doors of my practice in 2015, I have provided clients in Denver and Northern California with a wide range of mental health services. I have experience working with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, body image, relationship issues, life transitions and ADHD.
I also have experience leading workshops and groups on Yoga Psychology and Yoga for Emotional Health. I am passionate about the mind-body connection and working directly with the nervous system to affect lasting change. I love incorporating these principles into individual counseling sessions for a well-rounded holistic approach.

Individual Therapy
Through our work together, you will gain practical tools for managing the ups and downs of life. You’ll learn mindfulness-based strategies for managing stress and anxiety, while improving your relationships with others.
As a result, you’ll discover more clarity, calm and confidence. You'll feel more balanced and centered in the face of challenges. You’ll also begin to trust in yourself, knowing that there’s nothing you can’t handle.
In my practice, I utilize:
Acceptance and Commitment-Based Therapy (ACT)
Somatic (body-based) Therapy
Mindfulness and guided meditation
Breathing Practices
Yoga Psychology
The work we do will incorporate the latest in neuroscience to directly impact your nervous system. You'll learn how to interrupt the feedback loops that are keeping you stuck and rewire your brain to form healthy habits.

About Me
My path to becoming a counselor was not linear, but here I am. I started my training as a peer counselor for the CU Courage Program in 2004, where I did outreach and helped victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. After graduation from undergrad in 2007, I began working full-time in marketing.
Feeling unfulfilled in that career field, I starting working toward certification as a clinical hypnotherapist while volunteering as a victim advocate on the Domestic Abuse Response Team. It was then that I decided to leave my career in marketing and pursue education in psychotherapy full time.
After entering graduate school for Counseling Psychology, I went on to complete certifications in Wellness Coaching, Yoga, Reiki, and Rapid Resolution Therapy for Trauma.
Along the way, I took a deep dive into my own healing to explore holistic ways to bring the mind and body back into balance. I discovered the transformative power of yoga, movement and meditation. It truly changed me, and I was thrilled to start leading groups and workshops on the Psychology of Yoga.
After graduating in 2015, I started in private practice and have been honored to have worked with so many amazing clients since.
When not in the office, you can find me hiking, biking, or hanging with my toddler and partner in the mountains of Lake Tahoe.
