I am a Truckee-based therapist, with over a decade of experience working with adults in a private practice setting. I received my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado, Denver, and I am licensed to practice psychotherapy in both Colorado and California. I have trained extensively in yoga, mindfulness, hypnotherapy, and rapid resolution therapy for trauma.

Throughout my career, I have acted as a volunteer yoga instructor, offering trauma informed yoga classes for formerly homeless single parents, victims of domestic violence, and fire survivors. I have also led workshops and groups on the Psychology of Yoga and Yoga for Emotional Health. Additionally, I have served on the board of directors for the Redwood Empire California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (RECAMFT).

My Story

After struggling with my own anxiety and depression in my teens and early 20's, I took a deep dive into finding healing. I was seeking holistic ways to bring the mind and body back into balance. In this, I discovered the transformative power of yoga, movement and meditation. It truly changed me.

I fulfilled a long-time professional dream when I began leading groups and workshops on the Psychology of Yoga for and Yoga for Emotional Health, utilizing a trauma-informed approach. It was my goal to share the benefits of yoga and mindfulness with my clients and community.

In this sacred work, I am honored to have witnessed the incredible growth that can occur with courage and perseverance. I strive to provide a warm, non-judgmental environment, where it is safe to be your human self.

When not in the office, you can find me hiking, biking, or hanging with my toddler and partner in the mountains of Lake Tahoe.
